If you could happen to fall into a 5800x or a 5800x3d for a decent price (getting harder to find I’m sure), I’d skip the upgrades and AM5. It doesn’t look like it’s going to go the distance like AM4 did, there’s already AM6 talk going on for 2027. There’s very little real world actual advantage to AM5 vs 4, it’s just largely more anti-consumer behaviour and marketing from PC chipmakers.

It actually took two attempts with Ventoy, the first time the drive failed part way through. I think it overheated or something, it was very hot. I had to wipe it and try again, giving it time unplugged to cool down between flashing it and installing it, and that seemed to work fine. Probably a hardware issue though, it’s a cheap drive

For my friends and me it was always just “the game that is even more brutal than Doom, Quake and Duke Nukem 3D”. The more it was banned in Germany the more we wanted it. Good times.

Honestly I don’t see any reason to play any game without enhancement mods aside from not wanting to set them up unless you’re some sort of game historian.

I have a bad feeling about this. Due to how sub-par 4 and Brain Damaged are. EDIT Also I can’t see them keeping the edgy stuff in. Like the Muslim Terrorists.

Yeah it’s just a desktop wallpaper it seems. Big minus points for that. All the monitors also have the exact same wallpaper and the one on the side also cuts off. The speakers don’t really fit and the monitor on the left is just bog standard and on a modern arm, as well as the camera (but I can understand the camera, that would be harder to mod into something). I also don’t really like the way it’s done. Just random keycaps superglued all over it. Cheap diy ventcovers also superglued, not really straight. The little clock and mini-display are super cool though, but then the mini display is just another mirror of the main screen, that’s not great. The front is also kind of falling apart, which doesn’t look very nice. The stickers on the side are cool though. So I don’t know what to think. The concept is great, but the execution really isn’t there. On the other hand, going this far for a daily driver is cool in it’s own right.

I saw this game last week at SGF and thought it might have potential, looks a little rough, but should be good by launch. Looks fun enough for the first time reveal. Little did I know that it was literally coming out in less than a week.

Sell the switch my gen one is lying in a drawer. I used to stream to my switch but it wasn’t moonlight I used it was another app by an independent developer but I can’t remember who. Was a long time ago. Finished fallout 4 this way and also 100% the Goldeneye Xbox 360 leak. Unless it is a handheld console I won’t play it now. I mostly play it lying on the bed tbh.

The point being you’re running the Spyware OS 11 and then wondering why even uninstalling doesn’t remove one app entirely, possibly on the same machine with three different apps with universal mic access and Respondus for school. And to top it all off, Microsoft can already brick the whole damn thing with ease.

I didn’t even realize that there was another strike ongoing until yesterday, when I watched this Maggie Robertson (Vampire Dommy Mommy from RE8) interview. She even mentions that word wasn’t really out there about it at the time of the interview. Glad to hear it resolved enough that the union was willing to end the strike. At first, I was skeptical about the mouse. But then I tried it while spending hours waiting around at a rec centre. It works really well for FPS games like Quake – quite comfortable too. The reason it makes a big difference, though, is because of the size of the Legion Go’s 8.8-inch screen. That extra real estate makes a mouse more intuitive.
